The Kwinana/ Peel Ribbons of Blue are a comprehensive environmental program aimed at educating school students and the community and facilitating their involvement in the protection of water quality.
Through training, education and fieldwork, thousands of students and community members are educated on issues such as erosion, salinity and excess nutrients, which are threatening the health of our waterways.
Since 2004 Tiwest has been a major sponsor of this Department of Environment and Conservation (DEC) program that currently involves 32 schools and 11 active community groups in the Kwinana / Peel region.
