The program is focussed on educational projects, environmental management and support for community organisations.
Tiwest's individual sites also support a number of community clubs and organisations, including youth groups, sporting groups and volunteer emergency services.
Each Tiwest site also hosts 'open days', providing an opportunity for the public to view the sites and learn about operations from displays and site tours.
Tiwest is a member of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCI), the Kwinana Industries Council (KIC) and the Chamber of Minerals and Energy of WA. These industry groups interact with the community and regulators, and Tiwest is an active participant with the goal of improving understanding and cooperation between industry and community.
