Tiwest employs more than 800 people at its operating sites and administrative headquarters in Western Australia. 80 per cent of these people are permanent Tiwest employees, and the remainder are contractors.

About  320 Tiwest employees and contractors are engaged in mining heavy mineral concentrate and separating the various mineral components.

The downstream processing conducted by Tiwest in Western Australia has created more jobs. Another 480 Tiwest employees and contractors add further value to these various minerals in processing ilmenite into synthetic rutile and titanium dioxide pigment..
