Key elements in the company's achievements have been priority programs for safety, environmental performance and community responsibility.
Tiwest's six operating and administration sites are -
- Cooljarloo Mine, 170 kilometres north of Perth, where heavy mineral concentrates are produced from dredging and dry mining operations
- Chandala Processing Plant, 60 kilometres north of Perth, where the valuable mineral concentrates are separated and ilmenite is further upgraded to synthetic rutile
- Kwinana Pigment Plant, 30 kilometres south of Perth, where synthetic rutile is processed to titanium dioxide pigment
- Henderson Storage Facility, 25 kilometres south of Perth, where some minerals and pigment are packed for export
- Bunbury Port, 180 kilometres south of Perth, where bulk mineral sands products from Chandala are loaded for export
- Bentley, the company's corporate administration office near the centre of Perth
