In 2001 Tiwest replaced 30 per cent of the scheme water used at the Kwinana Pigment Plant with bore water to make more water available for domestic households in Perth. The company also uses treated sewerage water from the Kwinana Water Reclamation Plant. These actions will not only provide a sustainable supply of water for Tiwest, but will also meet the company's internal commitments to environmental improvement and sustainability principles.
